Creating versus problem solving
September 6, 2009
Making the transition towards a more sustainable economy is a real challenge. No gains without pains, as stated before. This transition requires problem solving and creativitiy.
Do you know the difference between the two? Peter Senge makes it cristal clear in his book "The necessary revolution":
Problem solving is about making what you don’t want go away.
Creating involves bringing something you care about into reality.
I think sustainable entrepreneurship needs both. Tough? Yes.
But it is happening. And I fully agree with Sir Edmund Hillary, who said:
“Those who say it can’t be done, should get out of the way of those who are doing it.”
