Reduce, recycle or just nuke the place?

NRC Handelsblad publishes very short stories written by its readers. (ikjes)

Recently a shop owner wrote about a client who wanted a plastic bag, while the purchase was already put in a paper bag. When asked why, the client said that the city was collecting plastic, for which it had distributed bags. As a good citizen this client wanted to make sure that she would be able to deliver a full bag to the city. She wanted to be a good citizen.
How appropriate! What a great way of serving the enviroment.

Another great example of serving the environment, as well as a relief to all who are concerned about climate change could be read in several news papers recently. A small nuclear war can reverse global warming for years. National Geografic reports: “Even a regional nuclear war could spark "unprecedented" global cooling and reduce rainfall for years”, according to U.S. government computer models.

There is only one catch: widespread famine and disease would likely follow, experts speculate.

Well thanks for the research anyway
