Impact Measurement – interactive workshop

The presence of foreign companies is often perceived differently by different people. Some regard them as providers of economic activity, jobs and wages while others see them as extractors of (hard) money, exploiters of cheap labour, or polluters of the environment. Common ground between these two viewpoints is hard to find, and exaggerated stories are used mould perceptions of stakeholders. Impact measurement goes beyond storytelling and quantifies the direct and indirect impact of your company on countries where it is active. Our “impact workshop” guides you in looking at your company’s impact from a solidly development economics point of view.

Quick answers
The workshop helps you answer the following questions:
• What impact categories are relevant for my company or sector?
• What impact categories are typically quantifiable?
• What approaches or methods are available?
• What are leading examples of other companies who are determining their impact?

What we offer
We offer a one-day workshop for internal stakeholders of your company. A typical agenda is:

• Main impact categories as perceived by internal and external stakeholders
• Country-specific impact categories (of local operating companies)
