Launch impact study Coca Cola Italia
14 juni 2012
Our work for Coca Cola Italia serves as a good example of the added value of an economic impact assessment. The study analyzes the impact of “the Coca‐Cola world” in Italy, a country where it has been operating since 1927. The findings differentiate between direct impact, which may be traced back to the same Coca Cola, indirect impact, which may be traced back to commercial partners and suppliers, and induced impact, which may be traced back to household consumption. The data are presented in terms of added value, defined as household income, taxes paid, company profits and savings, jobs created. As our associate partner Prof. Ethan Kapstein stated at the launch of the report:"Its operations have a supporting effect both on firms upstream and downstream. These companies, in turn, generate income and tax revenues, thereby developing economic activities within their respective value chains."seia_coca_cola_italia_brochure_finale.pdf
