Adelola Popoola

Adelola is an associate interested in impact investing and strategy development.
She is passionate about fostering sustainable development through financial inclusion and strategic investing. Adelola is interested in measuring impact using data-driven modeling and understanding investment strategies toward socio-economic development.
Before joining Steward Redqueen, Adelola conducted a research project in Lagos, Nigeria analyzing labor dynamics in the urban informal economy. She used qualitative and quantitative methods to derive gender-disaggregated data, including in-depth on-site interviewing. She previously worked for the Washington D.C.-based organization, Basic Education Coalition, tracking and monitoring USAID fund allocation, and in the European Parliament focusing on policy analysis.
Adelola holds a MSc. in International Development from the University of Amsterdam and a B.A in Global Studies from Drexel University with minors in French, International Economics, and Africana Studies. She is a native English and Yoruba speaker, proficient in French, and has a basic knowledge of Arabic.
