Ilana is a Senior Consultant specialising in research, monitoring and evaluation
Ilana has experience working with some of the highest profile private sector, government and not-for-profit clients designing and implementing large scale international and domestic research and evaluation studies.
She has built specialist policy expertise across a variety of thematic areas including climate and environment and social inclusion. Her methodological expertise is grounded in theory-based evaluations and non-experimental designs.
Ilana has worked across geographies including East and Southern Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific. This has included supporting local research teams in developing countries and providing technical assistance and capacity building support for grant-funded projects.
Prior to joining Steward Redqueen, Ilana led the research and evidence agenda at the International NGO, Save the Children, on the topic of migration and displacement. Before this, she was a Consultant at ICF International and Ipsos UK responsible for delivering research, evaluation and advisory services to EU institutions and agencies, national governments and development agencies.
