Reint is an expert on data and biodiversity
Reint de Koning started in 2019 at Steward Redqueen. He is specialised in biology and earth sciences and uses this knowledge to model and quantify geo-ecological dynamic processes. He aims to use these skills to provide business with insights into their impact on biodiversity and their environment. Reint is based in the Netherlands.
Before working at Steward Redqueen he interned at the Dutch Water Authorities to model the efficiency of dike and pest species management in the Netherlands. Reint also participated in the Slow Food Youth Network (SFYN) Academy, providing him with a broad knowledge about the current challenges for business and society occurring in food and agriculture. During this program he participated in several circularity assessments for companies such as Agrico and Ahold.
Reint holds a master’s degree Environmental Management combined with a minor Science for Sustainability at the University of Amsterdam. Prior to he master he completed Future Planet Studies from the University of Amsterdam with two majors one in Ecology and one in Earth Sciences.Go back to team overview
