Sustainable Finance Training for IDB Invest

We developed and delivered Sustainable Finance Training for IDB Invest’s Sustainability Week

The annual Sustainability Week is a flagship event in Latin America dedicated to advancing sustainable business practices among IDB Invest’s partners and clients. One of IDB Invest’s aims for this event is to deliver targeted capacity-building for financial institutions, fostering a deeper understanding of sustainable finance, ESG risk management, and impact measurement in a rapidly evolving regional context.

Since 2008, Steward Redqueen has contributed to multiple editions of IDB Invest Sustainability Week by facilitating the Sustainable Finance Training program – a dedicated capacity-building track for the financial institutions engaged with IDB Invest. The program featured presentations, panel discussions, and workshops covering ESG risk management, green finance products, impact investing, and impact measurement. Through these engagements, participants gained hands-on experience and actionable insights to advance their institutions’ sustainability agendas.

The Sustainable Finance Training at Sustainability Week has helped catalyze the adoption of sustainable finance practices among Latin American financial institutions. Participants left the program with enhanced expertise in ESG integration, new strategies for supporting green finance, and a toolkit for measuring impact.
