Matt is an Associate with expertise in financial analysis and economic impact assessment.
Matt is passionate about using finance and data-driven analysis to support sustainable development, with strong skills in financial modelling, market analysis, and socio-economic impact measurement. His areas of interest include sustainable finance, impact investing, and strategic analysis that bridges financial performance with measurable social and environmental outcomes. He is based in Amsterdam.
Before joining Steward Redqueen, Matt gained experience across corporate, government, and startup environments. He worked at Syngoletta, a micromobility startup, where he built financial models and supported strategic decision-making for pre-seed fundraising. He also worked as a Junior Project Manager at Lockheed Martin Canada on the Canadian Surface Combatant program, and as an Economic Development Officer at the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, where he assisted SMEs in accessing capital. Matt also has experience as a private real estate lender, managing secured lending agreements and investment risk analysis.
Matt holds an MSc in Sustainable Finance and Investments from Utrecht University and a BCom in Finance and Economics from Dalhousie University, both with honours. He is fluent in English and has conversational proficiency in French.
