Amera is a dedicated professional with a focus on the impacts of climate change on global finance. She has a strong commitment to helping organisations understand, quantify, and effectively manage their climate-related risks. She is based in Amsterdam.

Before joining Steward Redqueen, Amera had gained experience in monitoring and evaluating projects funded by organizations such as EBRD and USAID, with a specific focus on the agriculture and water sectors. She excels in the critical task of evaluating both the environmental and socio-economic consequences of these projects. Additionally, she had the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Ministry of Environment in Egypt, where she embarked on a year-long internship that exposed her to a diverse range of topics, including climate economics and policies.

Amera holds a MSc degree in urban management and development, specialized in Urban Environment, Sustainability, and Climate Change from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a BSc degree in Geoscience from Ain Shams University. She is fluent in Arabic and English.
