Sarah is an Associate focused on ESG and impact management with a specific interest in the financial and agricultural sector

Sarah is motivated to help organisations understand and manage their impact on society by developing frameworks that assess societal impacts and address environmental, social and governance concerns. She is based in Amsterdam.

Prior to joining Steward Redqueen, Sarah used to work at an organic food company and at a corporate consulting firm in Amsterdam, where she gained insight into the private sector’s role in promoting innovation. She has conducted ESG risk assessments while working for one of the largest certification bodies and gained experience in conducting input-output analysis at the Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy (hosted by World Resource Institute). She has also gained experience developing a novel modelling framework to calculate the impact of the agri-food industry.

Sarah holds a joint MSc Industrial Ecology degree from Delft University of Technology and Leiden University and a bachelor’s degree in international business administration from Erasmus University. During her masters, she also completed the Climate-KIC master label program from the European Institute of Technology. She is fluent in Dutch and English and can speak German at an intermediate level.
