Valerie is a Consultant with a focus on impact studies and sustainable finance
As a Consultant her expertise lies in assessing and quantifying impact and in the sustainable finance sector. She is experienced in helping several multinationals measure and manage impact. Valerie has been part of 10+ socio-economic impact assessments along the value chain in the food and beverage sector on regional and multi-regional level, as well as qualitative and quantitative impact assessments in the infrastructure sector. She is based in Amsterdam.
Before joining Steward Redqueen, Valerie gained experience in risk and asset management at the pensions department at BMW, analysing insurance risk and asset performance. Here she was also part of several sustainability analyses with a particular focus on ESG (environmental, social and governance) regulations, which enabled her to gain a deeper inside into corporate sustainability frameworks and the practical challenges and opportunities in promoting these within organizations. Later on, she studied the impact of sustainability initiatives like the SBTi on firm behavior.
Valerie holds a MSc degree in Sustainable Finance and Investments from Utrecht University as well as a BSc in Mathematics with a minor in Business Administrations from the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. She is fluent in English, German and Dutch.
