We are headquartered in Amsterdam and have offices in Singapore and Washington, DC. This role is for our Washington, DC office.
The role
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Client Manager to join our Washington, D.C. team. This role will focus on leading client engagements, building trusted partnerships, and supporting the firm’s business growth in North America and globally.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong client management skills, a passion for sustainability and impact, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality advisory projects.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Project Leadership
- Lead complex consulting projects with clients across sectors such as finance, development, and sustainability
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and strategic alignment
- Manage project teams, providing clear direction, mentorship, and oversight
- Translate client needs into actionable insights and solutions that drive measurable impact
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients
- Contribute to the design of proposals, presentations, and thought leadership pieces
- Support strategic partnerships and networking efforts to expand Steward Redqueen’s visibility and influence
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the firm’s market positioning and service offering
Team & Practice Development
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to their professional growth
- Share best practices, methodologies, and insights across teams
- Help strengthen the firm’s knowledge base and intellectual capital in key thematic areas
The profile
As our next colleague, you will have:
- 6–10 years of professional experience in consulting, sustainability, impact investing, or a related field
- Proven experience managing client relationships and leading multi-stakeholder projects
- Strong business acumen and ability to identify strategic growth opportunities
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience working with or advising financial institutions, corporates, or development organizations preferred
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business, economics, sustainability, or a related discipline
We are looking for a candidate based in the Washington, DC area. US work authorization is required.
