Sustainability strategy support for Vista

We supported Vista in developing a sustainability strategy.

Vista Hypotheken, a Dutch mortgage company and 100% subsidiary of Rabobank, specializes in offering and managing mortgages financed by large institutional investors. Notably, Vista Hypotheken pioneered a discount on green mortgages. Given the increasing importance of sustainability in recent years, the organisation faced a challenge in establishing a clear and comprehensive vision and sustainability strategy. To address this need, Vista Hypotheken engaged the services of Steward Redqueen.

Our engagement involved an examination of peer organisations and a thorough review of the regulatory landscape relevant to Vista’s sustainability strategy. Additionally, we facilitated a series of internal discussions with key stakeholders at Vista Hypotheken to gain a deeper understanding of the company’s ambitions and to assess the feasibility of those ambitions within the context of Vista’s operating environment.

This allowed us to formulate a strategic ambition document for Vista Hypotheken that serves as the blueprint for Vista’s sustainability strategy. Subsequently, we drafted a strategic roadmap that outlined the course for Vista’s sustainability journey, offering directions for the next steps necessary for the successful implementation of Vista Hypotheken’s sustainability vision.

The project has equipped Vista Hypotheken with the tools and direction to operationalise its sustainability strategy, serving as a starting point for the further implementation of their sustainability strategy.
