We assisted the T2 Energy Transition Fund in developing their impact proposition

The T2 Energy Transition Fund (hereafter ‘T2’) is a strategic partnership between Tikehau and Total, offering investors strong financial returns and an opportunity to accelerate the energy transition. The T2 team asked Steward Redqueen to support them in improving their impact proposition.

Together with the T2 team we developed an impact framework to measure T2’s contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We outlined the fund’s Theory of Change, identified metrics to measure results and determined the link between these results and the SDGs and the Paris Agreement. These core elements of an impact framework help the fund in communicating how its equity investments into companies that deliver green energy, clean transport and optimal energy consumption contribute to the transition towards a more sustainable energy system.
