Gretchen Bruening

Consultant

Gretchen is a consultant with an interest in helping both private and public sector organizations understand their impact.

She has a broad range of experience related to economic impact reporting and ESG management. She is based in Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining Steward Redqueen, Gretchen worked at the Pulte Institute for Global Development, conducting qualitative research on private sector engagement in international development for a USAID-funded project. Through this experience, she gained insight into the private sector’s role in promoting sustainability and socio-economic development.

Gretchen holds a BA in International Economics with a concentration in French and minor in International Development Studies from the University of Notre Dame. As part of her program, she did an exchange semester at l’Université Catholique de l’Ouest in Angers, France. She is a native English speaker and has a professional working proficiency in French.
