Silvia Binet is a Senior Consultant with specific expertise on climate change and development in emerging markets. She has a focus on developing and evaluating mitigation and adaptation approaches of climate finance mechanisms and development finance institutions. She is based in the Netherlands.
Silvia has experience advising organisations on their impact strategies and has contributed to several complex evaluations for institutions ranging from climate and impact funds to development finance institutions and non-profit. She also helps clients quantifying their socio-economic and environmental impact and climate risks through value chain analysis and economic modelling. She has grounded knowledge of climate finance, infrastructure and the agri/food sector.
Before joining Steward Redqueen, Silvia was a trainee at the European Commission Joint Research Centre, in the Directorate for Energy, Climate and Transport. Prior to that she attended a Climate-KIC professional development program. Silvia holds a MSc and BSc in Chemistry from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne with a specialization on energy technologies for a sustainable transition.
